Land so near and yet so far   On this page you will find 12 imaginary landscapes. Before I created these pictures they only existed in my dreams and fantasies. That's why I call them dreamscapes. The world of our dreams and fantasies truly is a land very near and yet so far away. It only takes a second for us to go there, still we realize it will always be a mirage in our mind's eye. Maybe dreams and fantasies are our soul's emergency exit, an escape route to a world of peace and harmony. A world in which we feel safe and at home.
