No Idea

I took this picture a year ago and I can’t remember what it is. 🙂

Well, why not? The most rediculous looking things are called art and this falls in that category too. 🙂

Magical Lights

The Sun

The picture was taken on August 11, 2017. It was part of a series of test shots with different filters, preparing for the 98% eclipse on August 21, 2017. Notice the sun spot in the lower right.

Oldie but goodie?

A double rainbow.

Red Hole

Not a black hole, but a red hole, left me wondering what animal was using it as a home?

Below is a ciphered text, created with a pretty good algorithm. No, the Enigma Cipher Machine was not used for this. 😉

The secret message:

If you are able to decipher it, let me know. You may win a trip to Gilligan’s Island. Whoa!

Close Up

Of a candy tin sitting on my computer table.

After the Storm

Two shots of the clean up after a tornado touched down, a few miles north of here in 2017.

Test shot with Neewer LED Lights JYLED-500S

Here is one of the test shots I took, using the Neewer LED lights. As you can see the lights work quite well for smaller product photography and controlling the shadows is pretty easy.

My camea setup:

  • PENTAX K-5 with SMC PENTAX-A Zoom 1:3.5 35-105mm
  • Induro CT314 tripod
  • Manfrotto 405 Pro Digital Geared Head
  • Manfrotto 454 Micrometric Positioning Sliding Plate (Used for small left or right camera movements without having to reposition the tripod.)

Close Up

Cable modem.

What is it?

Probably a simple guess. 🙂
