The picture below shows Pearl and Yoshi as little kids and as you may have expected, it contains many symbols! The globe for the two different continents we lived in, the dandelion for the wish we made, the butterflies that are angels in disguise, the rainbow (Somewhere over the rainbow), the caption, the roses and, of course, the Rainbow Bridge Song that Pearl wrote for me in 1999 and my translation into Dutch.


When we met in person for the first time in October 1999, Pearl gave me this picture in the form of a puzzle. Another symbol! Our lives fell into place like the pieces of a puzzle: "Unrevealed until its season. Something God alone can see."
