Let
me introduce myself: I'm Yoshi and I used to live in The Netherlands.
On November 1st 2001, I moved to the USA and now live in Georgia.
The reason for me coming to this country? Well, marrying a
Southern Belle that I met on the MIE photo board in 1999!
We were joined in matrimony on Sunday, November 11th. 2001.
A lot of people in cyberspace know me by my nickname "Yoshi".
That is why I welcomed you in our virtual home using this
name.
I was born on January 29th. and
that makes me an Aquarius. (Sun in the 9th House)

On this page you'll find, amongst many other interesting topics,
the two tests to determine who you really are. Dare take a
risk, it's never too late to learn more about yourself!
Cats have always been very important to me as you can see on
one of my other pages. That's why a number of those furry friends
shared my life since 1975. When I was still living in the Netherlands
I was owned by two Siamese cats: Amon
and Re.
Each of the 7 cats that died over the years, have been very
special to me. All of them were unique and willful personalities.
Maybe you won't believe me, but I learned a lot about life from
them. Having pets around is such an enriching experience!
Getting
up in the morning always is very hard for me. The symbol of
a cruelly interrupted sleep is the alarm clock. On the other
hand without an alarm clock I probably would be late for work
every day.
You guessed right, I am not much of a morning person. My favorite
time of the day is the evening and even the night. I like
the quietness of the atmosphere when most people are asleep
and to me it seems that my thinking gets clearer and more
concentrated.
For the past 20 odd years I worked in the IT branch, mainly
as a programmer and instructor. In the "old" days I developed
programs for DOS in Pascal and dBase, but since 1993 I only
develop programs for Windows in Visual Basic and since 1998
also in Delphi. My specialties are utilities and multi media.
Being a photographer and sound engineer in the past, was of
course a tremendous help.
By the way, I love living in the digital age!
